This book was published in 2003. Hatcher Childress describes Jack Rackham as handsome and a snappy dresser whose headquarters was in the Bay Islands. He and Anne Bonney conduct family affairs on an island south of Cuba. Anne and Mary Read are ultimately acquitted.
The Lady Pirates by Walt Jaffee
This article was published in the June-July 1977 issue of Young World. Anne Bonney meets Jack Rackham in Charleston. Mary Read joins the crew while Anne is having Jack's child in Cuba, and she also sleeps with Jack. Jaffee says that Anne and Mary were both pirate captains.

This middle grade novel was published in 2002 and includes bios of Ann Bonny and Mary Read, according to which Mary was born in London and enlisted in the Dutch infantry. The pirates were arrested on the ship Revenge, and only Ann was not drunk. She disappeared in prison.
